influencer marketing

How many of your tweets have been re-tweeted by an Influencer in your Niche?

Influencer Marketing is probably the best way to increase brand awareness. It is also one of the best ways to promote your products. Conversions are normally high when influencers recommend your products, thanks to their influence value. How many times have we seen those big names – sportspersons, actors and actresses, singers and all promoting products in those commercials and a lot of times our buying decisions are influenced only because an individual who we admire is promoting it.

Influencer marketing works really well when it comes to Twitter. And in today’s episode of the Social Media Sundays, we will be discussing a nice little trick with which you can get better engagement from the influencers in your niche and also get them to promote you and your content.

Influencer Marketing – Engaging Influencers

Twitter has been my single largest source of Social Media Traffic.  And one of the things I do to build engagement for my content is to make the influencers in my niche recommend my tweets. In other words, when they re-tweet some of the valuable tweets that I do on Twitter, the engagement increases manifold and I get a lot of traffic to my blog posts and websites.

The trick here is to get influencers to talk about your post and tweets. The fact that they are influencers is because they are masters in the topic and hence anything that they recommend is topic of value. This can get their followers to be talking about it and thus generate a lot of buzz.

For them to endorse your content by re-tweeting your tweets or, tweeting your posts, your post has to provide value to the readers. This is the most important aspect of this technique. If your content is not worthy of sharing, then they will not share it.

Once you have good share-worthy content, you need to engage with these influencers to let them know that you are there and that your content is valuable. That is precisely what we are doing in this technique.
